I cast off from the eastern shore,
Headed west across the plains
I was alone, it was romantic like the books I read back home
That sweeping open beauty making you feel so alone
And so it ends i’m leaving tonight
Street lamps and sidewalks
this city fading day by day
I said it, I said it and i’m not sure what’ll happen now
it’s out, it’s out, it’s out, it’s out
oh hold on hold on
come on, come over
my feet are stuck in the clear cold water
A loose grip on everything lost to complacency
I haven't learned to hold the ones I love as close as they hold me and it goes on
And so it ends i’m leaving tonight
Street lamps and sidewalks
this city fading day by day
I said it, I said it and i’m not sure what’ll happen now
it’s out, it’s out
hold on, hold on
Wow! Y'all have outdone yourselves on this one. It is pure shoegaze noise bliss. Swirling like I did in my acid days to MBV. It's retro, it's modern, it's disconnect jagged edge. Custom Made In 1968
The title track pulled me into Slow Crush's orbit, but Tremble held me there - alongside Lull from the Hush LP and the whole of Seasurfer's Dive In, it can send me into an altered state of consciousness. The album vibrates with hints and nudges, from Slowdive twangs to a Corgan-esque chord shift, but Slow Crush are their own sound - thick, dark melodic, etherealistic soundscapes with Isa Holliday's vocals both binding the music and rising above it. One of the best bands in years. sentientpoet
This New Zealand group have a sweet glaze and an underlying toothiness that would have fit right in on mid-’90s alt-rock radio. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 1, 2019
Bleak, throbbing work that lands halfway between coldwave and shoegaze, this Berlin group hits that spot just under the breastbone. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 15, 2017

Excellent stuff, Spotlight Kid offer something darker and heavier in the often twee world of Dream-Pop or Shoegaze as we call it in the UK. Chris Olley
